J.M.J. CONVENT, NEW DELHI

History :

Year of Establishment :- June 1992.

Pioneering Sisters :-Sr. Imelda Kuttikat
Sr. Irene Correya
Sr. Elizabeth Vadakal

Need of the Time :- To witness Christ to the people around through the ministry of Education, as a transit house for these going and coming from Holland and Indonesia.

Facilitators of the Mission :- His Grace Most Rev Alen De' Lastic, Arch Bishop of Delhi
Rev. Sr. Martin Maliekal and Council

Starting point :- Sr. Imelda and Sr. Elizabeth worked in St. Mark's School as Teacher and School nurse for two years. In the year 1994 Srs. Irene and Sr. Sabina started Nursery class in the ground floor of the residence they bought till 2006. In 1998 we got a piece of land from D.D.A. for the construction of the School. In the year 2007 the School building was constructed and the classes began from Nursery to VI.

Current Status :- Well established school from Nursery to Class X with 800 students.

Occupying area :- 2.89 acre for school and a house at Sunder Vihar
