History :

Need of the Time :- Education for the young girls of the locality, to take over the school started by the diocese.

Starting point :- Maria Rani School was established & Managed by the Arch Diocese of Hyderabad in the year 1996 at the request of the people of Neela camp. Initially it was Telugu & English Media Schools later on Telugu Medium was closed down and the English Medium School continued. In the year 2003 Most Rev. Samineni Arulappa requested JMJ sisters to collaborate with the Diocese. Sr. Chantal and Sr.Rosalia started working in the School staying in the Parish house. In the Academic year 2004-05 we took over the School on contract basis for 30 years under the leadership of Sr.Chantal (Administrator) and Sr. Mariam Jojo as the Headmistress of the School. In the year 2009 new convent building was built and inaugurated by His Grace Most Rev. Marampudi Joji.

Current Status :- Class X

Challenges :- Providing a right and skill based education in the present scenario.
